Hey you might wanna call. Someone said their CC was Feb 10 and they are scheduled for an interview in March. It doesn't hurt to call. Some people get an email and some don't so don't wait on those emails ( they are usually late anyway ) . I would suggest calling.

Hi zebracakex Thank you! i did called and i have my interview in March 14 thank God!

No, I do not think they keep the bona fide proofs like albums etc.  However, you must take an original AND a copy of the civil documents like birth certificates, marriage certificate and police certificate(s).  You do not need to make copies of the other things like cards, phone records etc.  I do not think they allow electronic media (phones, iPad, etc) so you will have to print out emails or whatsapp chats etc OR take screenshots, email to yourself and print.  I hope this helps.

Thank you so much! If it's really like you say, it's great

From what I understand, after your case is complete, NVC works with the local consulates to schedule interviews.  After a date has been determined, the case file is then mailed to the local consulate and the status on https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx will change from "In Transit" to "Ready".  The length of time from case complete to interview depends on the country; some countries take months for an interview to be scheduled while some take a few weeks.

I-130 (for parents of US Citizens):

8/19/2022: NOA (IOE0917XXXXXX); Texas Service Center

7/22/2023: Both (parents) petitions approved

7/27/2023: Both cases sent to NVC

8/8/2023: Received NVC welcome email for both parents

It's important to remember, electronic media is not allowed so you cannot show photos on your phone, iPad, etc.  Print everything.

Quick question so I have my Interview date for March 13th but when I check the status of my visa it still says at NVC and I still have 3 N/As?  How long after does it change to in transit?

Mine barely changed to in transit yesterday. Maybe yours has changed too by now.
