My husband's interview is in 5 days. I'm feeling really sick. Thinking of all the outcomes. This is one of the hardest things I have had to do in life.

He will be fine...keep praying.  Will you be there with him?

At the Jamaican consulate, the medical should be 10 -20 days before the interview.

I have an interview at the Consulate there next month! Thanks for the tip! Would appreciate any other advice you or anyone has as it relates to the medical.

Also wondering if I have to register my appointment regardless of the fact I got the p4 appointment letter. Would anyone know?

Yes, go ahead and register and print out and take the confirmation page or registration page to the interview.  I am yet to do it but will do soon.

I'm not sure if all embassies require the registration for the interview or not. I tried to register my appointment for the passport to be returned but there is no option for immigration visa IR-1. They only have k1 or returning residents. How would I register? ??

Go to the following website: https://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/immigrate/immigrant-process/interview/prepare.html

Scroll down about half way and you will see a drop down menu...select your embassy and download the PDF.  It should be on the first page of the PDF if you have to register your interview.  I find the PDF useful because it is specific to your embassy/country.

Hey guys! I'm little late in announcing this, because I've been working and busy giving all my loved ones the exciting news... MY VISA WAS APPROVED YESTERDAY!!! I'm over the moon and can't wait to finally begin married life! :dancing::dancing::dancing:

To all those worried about upcoming interviews, there's nothing to worry about. It's very casual, very easy, and they're really friendly. I will post a full review on my timeline at some point tomorrow. Good luck everyone! :goofy:
