I have a question about rescheduling our interview appointment at the London embassy.  We contacted the embassy about the possibility of moving it up a week or so in order for my husband to be here while we're off from school for spring break.  They directed us to the website ais.usvisa-info.com that shows the calendar for the embassy in real time and allows one to change their interview.

My question is do you have to cancel your current appointment before you can see the calendar?  I just don't want to give up the appointment without knowing if there is an earlier one available.

Anyone have any experience to share regarding this?

NVC might be able to help you with that.

Also you mentioned your husband's medical didn't go well. I am sorry to hear that. i hope everything goes well. please keep us updated on what happens with the interview and all.

Heartbroken right now.  My husband's medical didn't go well.  They discovered a heart murmer and want his physician to set him up with a cardiologist.  They also want a lymph node that he had biopsied several years ago rechecked to make sure it's not tb - hello, I'm pretty sure that would have been in the pathogen report.

I thought they just cared about communicable disease.  What do either of these things have to do with him moving to America?

Sorry to hear of your news.  I know its hard to have anymore delays, but please try to look at the silver lining.  If they didn't find the heart murmur there may have been further and more devastating news down the track.  As hard as it is to see right now, maybe God needed him to find out about this now in case it was going to be serious.  I pray the specialist appt goes swiftly and you get good news back in a speedy timeframe.

It may not be as bad as we think.  Hubby saw his regular doctor this morning who said the doctor that examined him was way out of line to go into such detail.  He is going to reaffirm his medical information with more details and is having him go to a medical center in 2 weeks for an echo test of his heart to send to her as well.  So, hopefully we're still on track for his March 27th interview.
