((((((((((((((Rebeccajo))))))))))))))))))))

Just to hold out some encouragement, I filed AOS July 26, 2004 and it wasn't approved until May 24, 2006 - no explanations, no RFE's, no nothing - just a great big empty hole of waiting - and that included an 8 month wait after it had been transferred to California. I was aproved without an interview 3 weeks prior to our 2nd anniversary and we had applied within a month after our marriage. I know you have had your interview, so I hope it is only a matter of days before you get your final approval. If it delays long enough you will get your 10 year card rather than the 2 year conditional. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

I'm actually gonna be mad if they dust our case off before our 2nd anniversary.

Yeah, I DO know that one - I figured, heck they have waited all this time why couldn't they have waited another 3 weeks! But no, three weeks to go and the green card is approved, so now we wait again and I have to file to remove conditions in February, 2008 - nearly 4 years after I arrived in the US. And our K-1 journey took almost a year as well, as we started all of this in June, 2003 so it will be well over 5 years in process from start to finish - for a nice simple little application from Canada. Believe me, I do sympathize!

Oops, sorry, didn't realise what this was about, since I was the first to reply. I thought it was for those who filed in 2005, not just people in namechecks.

I hope those people get your stuff done soon, my fellow 2005 filers. I truly think about you guys every day, rebeccajo and lal_brandow. Hopefully some of that positive energy will help.
