I got approved on the 16th of January and my oath ceremony is on the 30th of January.  You should hear back from them very soon. Who knows you might as well be scheduled for the 30th . Hehe

Hi, everyone

I was trying to google any information of the current wait time/backup of the pending scheduling for the judicial naturalization oath ceremony in Denver court, but was not able to find any information online.

I called to the Denver court and the only answer they were able to give is that they do it once per month on last Friday, so they advised to contact and ask USCIS and I did and they were not able to give me a concrete answer.

Is anyone from this forum aware of any helpful information in regards of above that can be shared?

Thanks!

I attended my oath ceremony yesterday the 30th at the uscis office where I did my interview in Centennial, Colorado.  We were 34 in number from 17 diff countries. From the start to finish took an hour 46 minutes.  At the end, it's well worth it. I'm glad my uscis journey is over, I'm now a US citizen . Hurray !!!

I had my N-400 interview on May 28 and the officer said I should receive a notice for my Oath within a week or two.

Min June 6, my I-751 was approved and I received a notice saying I will receive my 10-year green card within next 60 days.

After 2 weeks from the interview,  still nothing from USCIS, I called them and asked if my I-751 holds up my Oath. They said they don’t know and told me to wait for 3 months.

I contacted the senator office and they sent USCIS an inquiry. Yesterday, USCIS answered that since I have my name change, my Oath is scheduled by the Federal court and there are about 6 ceremonies in a year. I should receive a notice for my Oath within the next 30-60 days.

An advice for you, when you have your interview, you should ask the officer to approve your I-751. So it will not hold your Oath. And if you want to have an early Oath, don’t make a name change.

Best of luck for the upcoming interview! And please share your experience! Thank you.

When did they finally schedule your Oath Ceremony in the court? Was it in Denver?

It was at the end of August in Denver. Hope this helps.

Thank you so much, this is the first helpful information I got! As I also changing my name now I know when to expect my oath ceremony - if my interview was on Jan 28, I should expect it in the end of April then.

Any other January 2020 filers here in Denver? I was at the field office on Friday for my Biometrics, and I don't know if it was just because of the good weather, but it was my best, most relaxed Biometrics experience ever. The guard was very pleasant, the receptionist chatted me up. And I chatted with the Biometrics lady about the much-anticipated opening of the first Colorado In-and-Out restaurant in Aurora.

Or maybe I was just tense and nervous during my I-485 and my I-751.

We have a trip planned April 16th to May 1st and now I am concerned that is going to be when the oath ceremony is scheduled... from what I read it is usually about a month after your interview?

My daughter had an interview on January 28 and her ceremony was on February 21, my wife had an interview on February 10 and her ceremony is scheduled for February 28, I had an interview on January 28 and my oath ceremony has not been scheduled yet because I change my name and my oath ceremony will be in Denver district court, that they do just once per month, so there is quite a back up of people waitiing in line.

Hello everyone,

My wife is about to apply for naturalization here in Denver. Disregarding the closures due to covid-19, is there any rough estimate of the average time it takes for one to get to the interview/approval/oath ceremony? Additionally, if there are pointers you feel are good to know it would be much appreciated if you were shared!

Thank you very much.
