Oh I wish I lived in Alaska or Arkansas, less than 300 applicants over there :D Do you think there could be possibility that things start moving faster or is it very unlikely?

I wouldn't count on things getting faster, honestly. I'm certainly not qualified to speculate but I can't imagine things will suddenly start moving.

As an Australian, does it make a big difference for you to become a US Citizen?

Was one of the last remnants of Denver Jan 17 filers. Had my oath yesterday. My interview was in Nov but cases was delayed b/c of additional background checks that was needed on my file. Turned out that I was not alone. I found that all the 36 cases that had the oath yesterday were delayed cases, some who did their interview as far back as late Sept. Anyway had the oath, now I'm a citizen. Good luck to all those in the queue. Will remain in the forum for a while to answer questions, if any.

Thanks for sharing the useful information bro. I didn't know that the background check could delay the oath. I was under impression that when your case went to inline for interview, the background check should have been done and clear at that stage.

Looks like they finally updated the USCIS processing times yesterday. Seems like 10 months is the approx time it's taking right now. So they're likely working on March to early April about now? Last time I was in for an InfoPass the lady said that two of their members were temporarily being moved to a different office and they will be short staffed. But I'm hoping that the infopass people being short staffed will not delay the interviewers on the floor above.

This update is always out of date. We know that they are working on March 2017.

I don't understand what this update signifies. My priority date was Jan 24 2017, had my interview in Nov. At that time the update was showing Sept 20, 2016. What does that mean?

apparently useless update :)

Hi Everyone. I had a priority date of March 2. I had my interview on Friday 1/26. The IO gave me a paper that said I passed, and said that unfortunately they didnt have an oath ceremony that day, and that I should be scheduled and receive a letter in the mail with the oath date. I know its only been a few days, but I still havent received a text or online notification about my case getting in line for oath. After my AOS interview, I received notifications right after I walked out so I'm a bit worried.

Hi Denver filers,

i received notification that my interview was scheduled on 1/29 and received the letter on 2/2 for a 3/5 interview.

Congratulations! How long did it take you to get the interview? When did you apply? :)
