I am a May filer. Looks like they may be working on March files, not so sure. I'm expecting my interview in March/April 2018.

I'm also a May Filer. Did you hear any March filer got interview scheduled ?

Not heard anything yet about March filers. Was just assuming.. I really wish 2018 wakens them up. I  know some persons who filed same time with me in Boston and Ohio and have since done their interviews and oath. I've been in line since June, waiting........................ BTW Happy 2018 to all Denver filers:D

It all depends on our Denver field office. The other offices have nothing to do with ours. I know the other offices are much faster. Hopefully there will be some big improvements for Denver field office this year.

Hello! I'm new here and wanted to add a brief timeline for my cases:

I-751

- Filed on July 8th, 2016

- NOA on July 11th, 2016 (California Service Center)

- Biometrics done on August 4th, 2016

- Pending ever since

N-400:

- Filed under the 90 days before 3 years rule

- Filed on July 11th, 2017 at the Phoenix Lock Box (Lived in Iowa)

- NOA on July 17th, 2017 (NBC)

- Moved to Denver after a week of applying for N-400

- Had an infopass appointment to get a I-551 extension stamp on July 28, 2017

- Biometrics appointment got sent to old address, so I received it late through USPS mail forwarding. Then was directed to go to the local ASC as a walk in for biometrics.

- Biometrics completed on August 10, 2017 as a walk in

- USCIS Case Status online changed to "Case In Line for Interview" on August 28th, 2017

I was initially happy that my status changed to in line for interview...but I have had no status changes since then. I have since made an infopass appointment to figure out what's going on with my case. The IO said that the NBC requested my I-751 file to be moved from California to the NBC to have them together. My case is waiting in the interview pool and will be sent to the local office, after which my interview will be scheduled. They said that my I-751 will likely not go anywhere because they'll prioritize my N-400 and basically approve them together on the combined interview date. They said my background check was done and there were no derogatory remarks on my file. I just need to sit tight and wait.

Based on reading this thread, it looks like they're still working on Feb. So I'm at least 4-6 months out. I did confirm during my infopass that even thought I didn't start at the Denver office, my original priority date will still be honored.

Hi all, I got a notification from ELIS today saying my case was updated, and my expected date of completion has been moved forward from March 2019 to February 2019. It's only a month but I'm hopeful that this means things are starting to move in the Denver office!

I think it's a good news. Thanks for letting us know.

That's one year+! When is your filing date? Anyway it's good to know a completion date than to keep hoping everyday like some of us.

My filing date is 12/26/17. At the moment my status says they've reviewed my biometrics and that the estimated wait time for the next step is 12 months. Then it gives the expected date of completion as February 2019. Gosh I hope it doesn't take that long.. :-/ A friend of mine filed last year here in Denver and hers took less than 6 months. I had no idea there was such a backlog!

Hey everybody! I filed in the beginning of August, was put in line for the interview in the beginning of September and since then it's been silence. I even called them and they just said that my case is in the time frame or something and kept saying they can't provide me any information :(

They are working on March cases now. You are an August filer so it's not your turn yet. Expect 4-6 months waiting from now.

It's taking a very long time in Denver. Before I filed I asked my lawyer and she said that it should only take 5 months. What happened?

How long does it take depends on the number of applications they received. There is a huge backlog now that is delaying the process. You can check how many pending applications in Denver field office from the link below

5 months :) yes used to be but no way now. The real estimation now is 10-12 months.

Oh I wish I lived in Alaska or Arkansas, less than 300 applicants over there :D Do you think there could be possibility that things start moving faster or is it very unlikely?
