hi fellow vjers,

i just found out yesterday my moms case was completed at NVC but they asked that w2's be brought to the interview.

i have got some few questions i'll like to clarity on.

1) are interview dates scheduled by NVC or the embassy?

2) Ghana is my consulate, our postal services r not reliable, what ways can i get the embassy to send me the pickup letter for medicals so i will then email it to my mom?

3) i can only send w2 for my co sponsor sine i dnt ave one. will that be ok?

4) if anybody has gone through this, what kind of questions do they they usually ask the moms?

Thanks for your help.

You need to check the Accra consulate website for update.

I learned that they no longer do a call in letter.

But check there first.

You have to search through this site for the embassy reviews.

You will find the common questions asked from reading other ppl's reviews.

hello how did it all go for you? my mom's case just got completed at NVC and has been moved to embassy. It is rare to find people that filed for parents on here. Most of the reviews are for spouses. I will be grateful if you can connect with me and share your experience. Thanks!

Hi,

My mom's interview went very smoothly. She wasn't asked a lot of questions.

Once she got to the consular she swore an oath to tell the truth.

These r the questions she was asked:

1) what's it daughters name

2)how many kids do u have

3)why do u want to go to the US

4)how old is your daughter

She also brought lots of pictures of us from my childhood to now.

She answered all that , and after she was approved. She went back to get her visa in 2 weeks.

Hope this helps. Let me know if u have any other questions
