How long did it take you to clear the security and reach the interview floor ? We are planning to take our 1 year old with us. Hopefully they will allow us.

less than 3 min.i don't call that security .they didn't check my id until I get to the interview room with the officer.the entrance security is like at any aiport security.you put bag belt shoes on a plastic and it goes through a scanner,then you proceed the scanner.at the entrance you just show your interview letter and then do the security .it is less than 3 mn.and then I took the elevator to the 7 floor.there is a big waiting room where family stay. People came yesterday with all their family member. I saw a lot of baby car seat too.only the person having the interview will go through a line in that room to get a number.so later they will call the number but again it is not in order..they called the number and said door 1 or door2.and they are waiting for the person to come to the indicated door.so they don't see you with your family at the end. Because only the person with the number get up and go to the door.but I remember that at the end of the interview ,the officer did ask me if someone is waiting for me and I said no.so he then let me exit by a back door where I took directly the elevator.i guess if it was a yes i will have to exit by the waiting room because I saw a lot of person with family exit back by door 1 or door 2.you can get lucky to get your number call early,so good luck to you.and update too.

give me another paper for the writing and asked me to write on line 1,we have 100 senators

and that it is for all the test,

then we reviewed all the questions on the n400 . he asked me all the yes and no questions .signed the n400 in front of him and he asked me if I want to change my name .I said yes and he gave me 3 other paper to sign.i sent 2 passport photo with my application so he asked me to singn the picture 2.

 

and then review my 2 passport because I had 2 trips. later only asked for 2016 taxes.and I gave the irs transcript .and he gave me the form n652 that I passed the test and the A that congratulate me .application is recommended for approval.

I applied for the 3 years rule and send with my applications kids birthcertificates,and 3 years tax transcript,

it is probably why he only asked for the 2016.he didn't ask me any bills to shows.and I didn't send any bills and insurance with my application,

he told me that I will have the oath in rockland and they will send me the letter when scheduled.

 

 

 

Congrats!!  @PD: 03/20/2011 Wasn't it amazingly easy and quick?! Well the interview that is. Def annoying you waited that long to be called in.

My wife did her Oath Ceremony yesterday here in St. Louis, MO. It was a huge event, larger than normal for St. Louis, and it lasted 6 hours! But it was a memorable experience. Let me know if anyone has any questions about it or our process. I won't bother updating the timeline in this thread since the formatting seems to be ruined.

My interview was supposed to be tomorrow. I just received an email that the ATL field office will be closed tomorrow due to inclement weather (Irma) and that my interview will be rescheduled.... sigh...

Received an email this afternoon RE: RESCHEDULE INTERVIEW. The email has a @uscis.dhs.gov extension so I am thinking this is genuine. Someone help, quick, is this legit, hacker stuff, or something?

USCIS previously scheduled you for your interview on September 12, 2017. We just received notification that XXX (accommodation requested) cannot be provided by the contracting company. Please provide us with three dates that you will be available to come into the office for an interview and we will get the interview rescheduled right away.

Go to USCIS online and check whether your field office is closed. There should also be a local number for your field office that you can call in case of inclement weather. The ATL field office is closed today and tomorrow and I received a personal email (different than your though) from the supervisor advising that my interview would be rescheduled. It was supposed to be today...

Sooooo, I had some issues with my mail delivery these last two weeks. We didn't realized it until late Saturday evening. Since I've already know that mail im not seeing it I decided to call uscis today and followed the suggested ways to be able to get through the customer service people. The tier 2 officer was able to help me. He was really nice and faxed me a copy of the notice. However I am curious about a couple of things so I would like to ask my fellow San Diegans to help me with the questions. 

 

The faxed that I received has only a date, time and location. September 20th 2017 at 830 am. It doesn't tell me how many people can I bring and what to bring. I imagine that I need my PRC and the notice. Other than dress appropriately I'm not sure if there is anything else I need to know.
