I think its enough. They might not even look at one single thing. I do believe they will take a look at the tax returns or the transcripts for sure.

 

Are you planning to drive or take the train/bus ?. I see you are in Rockland county.

my husband will drop me .yes I am in rockland county .

for the transcripts we filed married jointly.

I also applied based on 3 year, you are right the kids from the marriaeg is the biggest evidence.

 

he took once glance at  our kid Birth Cert and did not even go through the tax returns, health insurance etc etc which i submited with the N400 and also took with me (also no look at bank statement, bills, etc etc)

 

it was quick n easy.

Update on our case from Atlanta:

 

Our application was received Feb. 2nd. Biometrics was Feb 23. Then in line until July!

 

My husband received a letter July 7th for interview date. Interview was scheduled for Saturday (this was GREAT news, since he didn't have to miss work!) Aug 12 @ 12:30pm

And he passed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! woooooohooooooo so excited!

I checked our status online and today it says we are 'In-line for Oath Ceremony'

 

There weren't many people there while we were there, I was expecting a mad house. THere were 2 women we saw come out very excited because they passed. 

My husband's interviewer was extremely professional and got right into the interview: Asked 6 questions, which he got all right, then moved onto the reading part, then writing. He asked him a lot of questions such as, do you have a problem with alcohol? Drugs? I think most of these questions are on the original application that we answered already. 

He also asked if he was married, have kids? Have you left the country recently? 

My husband didn't have to bring much evidence because he's been a resident for 9 years. We were prepared to show everything but all they asked for was the green card, letter and passport. (maybe even drivers license?)

 

Once interview was over, he told him not to celebrate just yet and don't get in any kind of trouble, it's not over until the Oath Ceremony. He walked my husband out, opened the door, shook his hand and said congratulations and they both had big smiles on their faces. =D

Congrats to all you lucky people who have passed their interviews!

 

I received my interview letter for 18th September. Only problem is, is that I have also just been accepted into a really awesome nursing program and my interview lands on one of my first important clinical days in a hospital. Anyone know if its ok to request a specific day of the week (Friday) for an interview?

I don't want to seem ungrateful for the interview but I also don't want to miss my nursing classes as this will look bad also.

Hi @MonkeyJuice congrats on your interview date and starting an awesome new career. I don't think you can request a specific day for the interview. You request to reschedule and they send you another date. To be honest after waiting this long to get your interview date , I would not cancel , I would speak with whomever is in charge of your nursing program , either the clinical or program director and explain that you have your naturalization interview coming up and it happens to conflict with one of your nursing classes. I truly believe that they will totally understand and allow you to be off that day. Better now versus rescheduling and it falls on a day that you have an important exam. 

So just my two cents. 😁 All the best in both areas.
