I have not received anything beyond the above mentioned email on Friday. I suppose it will take another month or so to the actual interview...

Yes I think end of August or first week of september will get the actual Interview.

Hi Everyone, very glad to inform passed the interview today easily at the Chicago Field Office.

 

Chicago office does not do same day oath, so now will be waiting for the Oath letter.

Sent my N400 in Phoenix, AZ. NOA was dated 2/19/2017, checked my status online and since 7/18 my case is in line for interview. I am now waiting for my NOA letter for the appointment and instructions.

What your case status means is that you are now in the queue to get interviewed. Your status should change to interview scheduled for you to get the actual notice.

Oath Ceremony Will Be Scheduled

We placed you in line for your oath ceremony and will send you a notice for Receipt Number NBC************, with the date, time, and location of your oath ceremony. You should receive your notice within 30 days of its mailing date. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

 

Hi guys, I just checked my case status online and found this message. I have a question, once I am scheduled for the ceremony and USCIS had sent the notice, will USCIS update the online status letting me that the oath ceremony has been scheduled and that the notice has been sent? The only reason I am asking is because I have to be in Michigan from August 7th until the 15th. I am from the Washington DC area. Also, how much window does USCIS gives you from the day you receive the notice in the mail until the actual day of the ceremony. I would greatly appreciate your responses. Thanks in advance!!

Usually, you status will be changed to Oath Ceremony Was Scheduled. It means USCIS will actually send you a notice. A notice will come to you within 5-7 days (I believe and it varies) 

Based on your information, since your Oath has not been scheduled, the next Oath will be set on 8/8/2017 which would not be likely your Oath Ceremony.

Your Oath will be the next one or the next next one, and it really depends on how many people will take Oath in your Field Office.

The next two ceremonies after 8/8 will be 

9/12 and 10/10.

Since you will be out of DC from 8/7 to 8/15, so you are good.

I am not so sure I gave you a correct information. Your Field Office is DC and this office serves part of Virginia too. I am not sure if they will schedule you to take an Oath overthere or schedule you in a District Court. 

However, let's wait for other applicant's response.
