So I passed my interview on July 11th, flew that same day to Europe. I just came back home today and found my Oath letter for Thursday July 27th. I am very impressed how quick this process has been for me, I hope all New York City filers will experience the same!

Hey guys, I had my interview today, it went pretty well! i was interviewed but a very nice lady! She's stoped asking me questions after I got 6 right. I got recommended for approval

Talk about a New York Minute...that was fast. Especially considering how long others have to wait (1 to 2 months) for oath in NYC.

I truly hope we'll have your luck.

That was exceptional. Is it a judicial ceremony ? I guess you live in the city.

 

For people from the burbs, it usually takes at least 1 and sometime 2 months to get an Oath date coz they try to gather as much people as possible in a large judicial ceremony.

 

For the rest of us, I am not sure whats going with NYC office. There are people who will be approaching 5 month mark since sitting in the in line status. smh

I don't know if it is a judicial ceremony, it's at Federal Plaza where I got my interview (different floor, different room)

Congratulations!!!! In my opinion getting interview scheduled text is actually more satisfying than attending the interview itself. :)

Please update the date when you receive the interview letter.7/24 is actually the date you came to know that your interview has been scheduled.

I went "prepared"...from IRS transcripts to copies of bank statements/salary slips. But my IO asked for none. She did ask me about trips since the application. So have an updated affidavit (or exact dates) handy, if it applies.

 

Waiting at the reception, I was probably the one carrying most paperwork. Most only had a folder with them.

 

Again, I would rather be over-prepared. Good luck!

It's already the end of July and I haven't received any updates in regards to my application. Should I get worried? i can't think of anything that I did wrong in my application. But is this normal? I have been reading that a few of the applicants is already on the interview process or has received a notification that they are schedule for an interview and i have not received any updates. Any feedback will be most appreciated. Thank You!

i pulled up 100 case numbers before mine and there's a lot of people waiting in line for interview while others already completed.

one of these days i'll be calling the call center to figure out if anything is wrong with my case.

Did you file online or by mail? As i am reading if you filed online your case is being processed faster.
