Hi guys,

 

Quick question. I want to make sure there is proof I sent the application and that it was received. The address is a PO box so I wonder if there is any one to sign? what did you guys do for this? should i send to the other address listed instead for Fedex,UPS etc? I was planning to use USPS...

 

Just want to see what others did and if you received a notification of receipt from PO box with USPS. Thanks!!!

I did USPS priority mail to the PO box. It includes a tracking number which you can use to confirm when it is received. In my opinion, no need to pay for the extra signature confirmation.

Friends, I have a quick question: has anyone included two photographs with their application? I am seeing conflicting instructions about that. The instructions sheet says only if you reside outside of the US, and I saw somewhere that it is mandatory.

Yeah, it's confusing. No need to include photos unless you're outside the US. They will take a glam shot of you when you go to the fingerprinting appointment :)

I sent it with USPS Certified mail to PO Box with signature required, and I got confirmation they signed it when received. I sent it 02/13 they received it 02/15

Updated my FP date , march 1st 2017 :) ...seems fast to me. I had thought of trying an early walkin but with barely 12 days not worth the hassle :P..

 

good luck all..lets hope this final leg of our journey goes by quickly :) 

 

Also Please mention if you are IOE, NBC* etc . I went through previous threads etc and it seems IOE* are stuck hopefully new N 400 applications are not assigned IOE numbers or crapshoot as USCIS director has on Dec 2016 asked all IOE application oath ceremony and other stuff to be on suspension due to some FBI name check issue..NBC* numbers and others are all fine.

Hi guys I'm a little bit confused about the part 9 - time outside the US. I came here in 2010 on F1 visa, and received the 2 year green card in 5/2014. I went home twice in 2012 and 2015. Should I include the 2012 trip in part 9? I'm filing based on 3 year rule.
