@Vismom I am not sure if the online status changed. I haven't checked it since I got the letter.

Hey guys, I had my interview today, it went pretty well! i was interviewed but a very nice lady! She's stoped asking me questions after I got 6 right. I got recommended for approval

I was wondering about mine, filed feb 17 did my bio mar 22 then in line for interview since may 31. Is it possible to be in line for interview for 1 month or so?

 

just checked my case status and it said in June 20 they scheduled me for interview, just waiting for my schedule to come in the mail. its time to review for the civics test now.

May 15, 2013 - Sent I-129F packet

May 17, 2013 - Recieved Date

May 21, 2013 - NOA1

August 9, 2013 - Petition Approved; NOA2

September 12, 2013 - Got our Manila Case Number

September 13, 2013 - Paid VISA fee through BPI ; scheduled appointment and medicals

September 17, 2013 - Medical at SLEC; passed in one day

September 20, 2013 - done with CFO seminar pre departure orientation seminar

October 7, 2013 - Interview at USEM (Visa Approved)

October 16, 2013 - Visa on hand

October 17, 2013 - went back to CFO for the sticker

November 9, 2013 - Flight to LAX, got to LAX safely

NOvember 11, 2013 - Printed out I-94 online

You've been sitting in the in line status for more than 3 months. Hopefully it should come soon.

 

USCIS has some really bizarre ways of scheduling interview. Cant just really pin point to what pattern they employ.

I just checked online (like I do several times a day!) and it paid off!  It says my interview has been scheduled!   I am over the moon!  Now I will be checking the mail every minute :)

I printed again all the papers I sent with my N-400, I also added a few more (original birth certificate of my spouse), marriage certificate (original), joint account bank statements (from when I flied until now), tax transcripts, leases, copy of my green card (My I-751 wasn't approved at the time I filed N-400)

I hope I'm not forgetting something, I like to be over-prepared :)

 

Should I print photos of my husband and I?

 

My interview is in a little less than 3 weeks, let me know if you think about anything else!

Any utility bills, joint car/home insurance etc ? Make sure you take a copy of every original you have with you.

I brought two thick files (originals + copies) of pretty much everything you're describing here, plus life & car insurance. IO only asked for three specific things: passport, green card, and state ID (all in original, only glanced at them and gave them back to me). He didn't even want the two photos. But I wasn't sorry I was over-prepared :)

@Vismom I checked the online status and it still says " .....we scheduled you for an interview , wait for letter with more details". So def keep an eye on your mailbox seems like they don't update simultaneously.

Oh ok thanks. I'm filing based on 5 year and just assessing what everyone took with them to interview. I have 4 years tax transcripts and 1 year's tax return , green card , passports , drivers license , marriage certificate , will get 2 passport photos . Bringing just in case my husband's and 2 sons' birth certificates. Not sure why I'm bringing those. 😁 Oh and the kitchen sink. 😂

Thank you for your answers! I will take state ID. Should I take my husband passport with me or I'll be good with just a copy? I think ill just take both just in case
