So I actually moved my vacation, I had to pay over $400 but I also have to travel in October, November and December/January so I am pretty sure my rescheduled date would end up on another trip...

Time to start studying those citizenship questions!

Honestly, @jon29, I think you're better off eating that $400 cost in exchange for peace of mind for the rest of your trips. Good luck!

Thank you! No; I actually received email/text notifications for NOA1 and NOA2 but nothing when my status changed for "In line for interview" and again nothing for "interview was scheduled"

Yes I agree, I am already feeling a lot better to know that I'll be able to make it. I booked my flight on the same day as mi interview but my flight is at 10pm and I don't think the give interviews later than 6pm so it should work out

Thank you very much! I am actually very excited! I wonder if I got lucky but it seems from the December and January filers that only a few of them got their interview letter... I won't complain! haha

The February filers of NYC field office are expecting August/September interview date. But your case gives us hope that NYC office is moving cases fast. or maybe your case is a flash in the pan.

 

We are keeping our fingers crossed.

Yesterday, around 6:30 pm, I received email notifications that my interview has been scheduled and that I should be getting a letter soon.

Me neither, but I was going to be away the whole month and on the 14th, I have a wedding so I have to be there. If it's any other day, I will just fly back for the interview and leave again.

I don't know if there is a logic behind interview dates but mine has been scheduled on June 6 and my interview date is July 11. So I would think yours is around the 17th...

You can call USCIS and ask a tier 2 officer, they will tell you the interview date (only the tier 2 officer because the first officer you get on the phone couldn't tell me)
