Oh wow, congratulations! Our timelines are close, so I hope I hear soon as well.

Thanks, I might have to reschedule though... I am going to Europe early July to the end of July... I am afraid the interview is going to end up during my trip abroad...

I was expecting august/september looking at the December 2016 and January 2017 filers...

I called USCIS to see if they could tell me what is my interview date but they said I have to call back in 7 days for them to be able to give me this information (by that time I'm pretty sure I will receive in the mail anyway)

You should call back and speak to a tier-2 officer. They should be able to tell you.

I received my interview scheduled notification on March 1st for an April 5th interview here in Los Angeles, so you may be able to use that 4-5 week window as an indication but it may be different in your local field office based on their workload. Also, I think on the USCIS case status system, if you type in your reference number they will tell you that the interview has been scheduled and to contact them if you haven't received the letter by mm/dd/2017. Since the mm/dd/2017 is normally after the interview would have happened, you can assume that your interview has been scheduled to occur before that date (I know, the USCIS system makes no sense in this respect - "we have scheduled you for an interview however if you don't receive the interview confirmation letter from us by a date after the date on which your interview was scheduled to happen, please get in touch!").

Maybe @jon29 you'll be as lucky as @nmic7 and get the interview within two weeks. That would solve all your problems. #WishfulThinking

Hey y'all,

I became a citizen in 2007, good luck to you all. I'm helping my siblings and friends go through the N-400 process. Yesterday my friend was asked by the agent for two photographs. I warned her about this, but she didn't bring them. She had to go out and get new pictures. And don't forget your tax transcripts. And my sibling got her "interview was scheduled" notice (dated June 6 online) -- she applied Feb. 2017 and was "in-line on March 7, 2017.

So I called USCIS to ask (again) if they could tell me my interview date as i have travel plans coming up.

The officer said that I have to wait for the letter to come and call back in 30 days if I dont receive it, he said that if i couldn't wait for the letter I should book an info's (I mean come on, the letter WILL arrive before I get an info's haha) I asked to talk to a tier 2 officer (the officer I was talking to didn't seem happy I about that) but well, I scheduled a call back, I am not sure the tier 2 officer sill be able to give me the date but we will see...
