Hey guys, I had my interview today, it went pretty well! i was interviewed but a very nice lady! She's stoped asking me questions after I got 6 right. I got recommended for approval

@SRCB2503, are you planning an early FP walk-in, or is the color a mistake?

 

I just received my e-notification that my interview has been scheduled, but need to wait to get the letter!  I really wish they made them available online or sent them via email...

I think the In-Line notifications vary by field office. There are two people in NYC here that got their notifications exactly four days after their FPs. I am guessing if that's true, then I should be getting mine tomorrow or something.

It not only depends on office but also depends on the FBI.  

I did my FP early on 3/3/17 but 17 days later I got in-line since some filers who did on 02/28 get inline on 03/02 and 02/29 get inline on 03/03.

My original FP on 03/15, and I got inline on 03/20. 

So in my case, doing early FP is not guaranteed expediting your application. 

 

Othet cases I observed, In-line status for SFFO usually updated around 7-15 days.

 

FYI, if you live in PDT Zone, notifications usually send out around 1:30-1:45 PM via SMS. And 2 hours later via email.

If the hour is passed that means you won't get any update for that day.

You're right. I haven't been the luckiest when it came to getting my notifications early. I guess I will have to wait and see. I only got notified once so I can't really tell what time the messages come through. 

 

I just can't take all the waiting to be honest. I have exhausted all my patience during the ROC.

Waiting is a hardest part of anything.

I guess you did your FP 5 days ealier than your original..

I believe you would get your in-line approximately on early April. (4/1-4/5?) 

However, I have checked applicants who has receipt number nears me.. (e.g. Me is 942, I checked 948...) they all still waiting for in-line notifications..

I believe you would get your in-line approximately on early April. (4/1-4/5?) 

However, I have checked applicants who has receipt number nears me.. (e.g. Me is 942, I checked 948...) they all still waiting for in-line notifications.. 

 

 

Yeah, but one of the folks that walked in early in NYC as well got his inline 4 days after the FPs as well. It's just chaotic. They don't have any sort of logic in how they handle things. I have seen people go through the whole process in 4 months in NYC and some in a year. Nothing makes sense.

Let say this, it depends on numerical of factors. In this step, really depends on the FBI.

My friend who has the same day FP with her mom but his mom takes longer to be placed in-line since she has more factors to be 'verified' (traffic tickets, court-records..) All the information need to be gathered by the FBI to USCIS. 

Mine just takes 5 days (not really 5 days since FP was on 03/15 Wed, Thurs and Fri are 2 counted-day, Monday I got notification, it means just 2 days) 

I haven't had any tickets, never travelled outside US.. I was on F2A VISA. 

Just be patient, let's hope!

I need Inputs. I submitted my N-400 Feb 14th(filing in texas) didn't get my Receipt until 3 weeks later. Havent Heard anything about my Finger Print, anybody in the same shoe as me.

Your NOA date is 03/05 (or around that) 

You will be notified your FP about 5-10 days. (which means around 03/20)

I believe you will receive your letter soon. 

Check you status online to see. If there is no progress, call USCIS

Day 307 (Day 253) - 10/26/2017: Passport applied.

Day 321 (Day 267) - 11/09/2017: Passport Booklet received. 

Day 321 (Day 267) - 11/09/2017: Naturalization Certificate received. Journey done.

You should get a fingerprint notice usually within 30 days from the Notice date printed on your N400 receipt.

Yeah, but one of the folks that walked in early in NYC as well got his inline 4 days after the FPs as well. It's just chaotic. They don't have any sort of logic in how they handle things. I have seen people go through the whole process in 4 months in NYC and some in a year. Nothing makes sense. 

People who get their case closed in 4 months in NYC field office I think are the luckiest people to walk on this planet.
