Hi everyone,

at this point, things seem to go at a decent pace. I was informed by email today that my status case had been updated. After checking my case status on the USCIS website, my status is now : On January 26, 2018, we scheduled an interview for your Form N-400.....etc...

I'm now waiting for the interview letter in the mail.

What does it mean in terms of the interview date ? 3 weeks, one month from now ?

U should receive the letter within a week and u should have an interview in a month from now late February late march

Hi Sunshinestate2013,

I send my application in Feb 2017 and did the biometric on March 29th 2017.

Dec 21st i was advised i was in line for interview, and finally on Jan 26 2018 my interview has been scheduled.

My wife has her interview scheduled for this week.

We applied as same time and I am the primary (GC through my employer)

Applied Feb 2017, FP March 2017 and wife interview now.

Mine still waiting for Interview

 

So its weird that my FBI check takes this long

 

Hopefully once hers is done there is some movement on mine.

All my friends last year got husband and wife appointments at the same time.

I got my interview letter today. Interview is scheduled for March 7th.

Plenty of time to review the 100 questions and get ready for the interview.

Wife was approved and has her Oath ceremony tomorrow.

Luckily I got an info-pass when I went with her.

 

The rep said they were waiting got Missouri office to send them my file.

She gave me no dates and asked me to check back later

Just got an update on my case

Your Case Status: Testing and Interview 
Yaa!

 

My wife and I think that our files were sent together but were somehow mixed up.

Today the officer asked my wife about my case and if husband was here too.

She must have researched after we left....

 

I can only speculate what happened but happy that finally case is moving one more time and my interview is now scheduled now.

Waiting for the letter in the mail

I had my interview yesterday, and was approved. I did miss one question, but all others were easy. The USICS officer was pleasant, and like many others here have said  - it only took about 20 minutes. 

 

I applied under the 3 year rule, and was asked for latest tax return and some banking statements.,  my green card and passport and drivers license. 

 

 My field office does not do same day oath, but they did schedule and print out my oath ceremony NOA right then and there. My Oath Ceremony  is in  3 weeks time on Feb 20, 2018. - 3 days shy of a year from my application. 

 

Please update the chart as these have been a great help.

Almost one year from filing, N-400 interview conducted today with recommendation for approval.

 

Now the wait for the oath.
