Finally, my interview has been scheduled for Jan 31st. I'm seeing conflicting information but dies anybody know if I need to take a fresh ACRO certificate to the interview?

Not sure about that but our field officer definitely wanted tax returns. We took five years worth.  She only wanted three but took all five.

It's been a while since I posted in here, but I decided to update you guys on what's going on with my case.

 

Since I had the interview in July, I didn't hear anything for a couple of months then got an RFE and responded by mid-October and didn't hear anything for a while. I called multiple times and had service requests filed through L2 officers and I got the response back that they are still reviewing it. 

I decided to call again yesterday to speak with an L2 officer and to my surprise, she told me that my case was approved on 10/28/17 and that the response I got back to the service request said "we are still reviewing your case for oath ceremony" and that the NYC Field Office is being split into three and that's where the delay is coming from and that I should wait for an oath notice.

 

It is worth mentioning that the online status update is still "We have scheduled your interview". 

Last month, I have submitted assistance requests to my Senator and the DHS Ombudsman. I guess now I just have to wait.

 

Congratulations to all those who are done with the process and good luck to those still waiting.

Hi sunshinestate2013, still showing in line for interview, I’m not sure if I should called them cuz some of my friends already have a interview date and they even have their fingerprints taken later than me, the only difference is that they been having their green card for 5 years and that they didn’t get them through spouse, but I’m filling under the 3 year rules, do you think that would make a difference?? Thanks

Thanks for the reply, @Gabs1314 My application is with the Miami office and I have been in line for interview for almost eight months now. I saw on the last update that the Miami and Oakland Park offices are only a few days apart of processing times. Please let us know as soon as you get your interview. Good luck!

I was so close to being a US citizen.. Yesterday was supposed to be my oath ceremony, but it was cancelled due to bad weather. :( Hoping to get rescheduled soon!

Alas! My oath ceremony letter just arrived, a week after I became a US Citizen.

 

Luckily for me, I had received an email with a scanned attachment on January 3, 2018, which I printed and took with me on January 10.

 

The letter is dated January 2 and postmarked January 5, 2018. No idea where it was all this time, even if it was walking through backroads, 11 days is still a mystery.

I received an email update saying my interview is scheduled. I don't know the interview date yet since i'm still waiting the notice mailing to my house. I'll be out of country (leaving in 5 days) and coming back end of next month. This really make me anxious since I heard so many bad experience about rescheduling with USCIS. Is anyone of you have experience about reschedule the interview? I really really hope and pray the interview date is being schedule after the date i'm back in the US.

From my experience, your interview will be in 4-5 weeks (5 weeks being the furthest date you'll get), so I am guess it'll be around the 25th of February.
