I had a weird feeling yesterday and there it is. Out of nowhere i got a text/email that interview has been scheduled. Wooho. NYC sure is moving.

 

Looks like they scheduled a lot of people yesterday.

Case in line for interview means they are ready to schedule your interview as soon as they have a date and time available for you. When it will be scheduled depends on how busy your local field office is. The bigger and more populated your local metro area, the longer the time.

Yes Dallas has a long wait time. You can check other months timelines from people who got their interview date from Dallas and guesstimate the time it can take for you.

I'm wondering if anyone else has a similar experience as mine and if it is normal. My wife's interview was on July 24. The officer recommended her for approval, indicated on the interview results she was given. But we have not received any notification about an Oath Ceremony. We called customer service and of course they couldn't give us any more information than we already know: just that her interview was on July 24 and her case is being processed.

 

Should we worry about her approval or does this sound like within the normal time for processing approvals and getting an Oath notification after interviews?

Contact USCIS and talk to a level 2 officer if you hear nothing after 30 days from date of interview.
