So... I know some people will probably feel my story sounds weird... but life gets weird sometimes.

My ex-girlfriend was a filipina... and to be honest, it was a very unhealthy relationship. She didn't treat me very well, but I figured I might as well "settle" . We started our Fiance visa process back in January of 2016, but she was offered a job in the UK in March... and slowly our relationship began to drift apart. Our relationship was more or less dead by April/May, when she began avoiding me and wouldn't answer whether she still wanted to marry or not. She still communicated with me from time to time... but she obviously wasn't interested in marrying me anymore. We were approved for an interview, but obviously, she never went. I figured I'd just let the K1 Visa "lapse"... figuring it would cancel itself after 90 days or so. Procrastination kept me from checking on it, and also just not wanting to bring up painful memories of my past. Well... I have since met someone new. I met another Filipina who lives in Thailand as an English teacher. I first started talking to her back in May. We started off platonic, but we quickly developed strong feelings for one another.

In December, I tried contacting the Embassy to have the previous K1 Visa petition canceled... and I followed their instructions and even got an email back confirming receipt of my request.(Pasted below)
Well, in January... I flew out to go meet with my new girlfriend. I know it seems fast, but we were in love... and I proposed to her while I was out there. We spent literally every waking moment together for two weeks. Now... with my ex, I know in hindsight it was a terrible relationship as she never treated me right. Even my friends at the time warned me that I was making a huge mistake with her. Even the couple that introduced me to my ex, told me she had changed for the worse and that I deserve better. At the time, I knew I was just "settling". This time, however, I feel like this woman is just perfect. She is weird in everyway that I am weird. We finish eachothers thoughts... and it just is one of those things... when it happens... you just "know".

My current Fiance and I plan to marry in the Philippines since it is very important for her, that her family be present. This ultimately means we will have to go the marriage visa route.
The problem, though, is that when I look up the status of my previous visa application on CEAC, it shows a "ready" status for interview.

So my questions are:
Who do I contact to ENSURE, that this matter is closed, and this Fiance visa process is canceled? I want to get everything ready, for when I marry my current Fiance in July (tentatively).
If I go the spousal visa route (which is the route we've decided to take), how will the fact that I submitted a K1 visa within two years affect the spousal visa? FWIW, my fiance does know everything about my prior relationship.

Following is the email reply to my request to cancel K1 Visa process,
From the Embassy

Dear Mr. *******:

This is in reply to your inquiry regarding the visa case of the referenced individual.

We understand that you wish to withdraw the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS)-approved Form I-129F visa petition you filed on behalf of *BENEFICIARY NAME EDITED OUT*

We will forward the case to the approving USCIS office through the State Department’s National Visa Center (NVC) for appropriate action.

Sounds like a website update error. You need to contact USCIS in the US as the Embassy can do nothing. Writing a letter may be the best route.

"My current Fiance and I plan to marry in the Philippines since it is very important for her, that her family be present". - She learns fast not to sit it out like the other one ..... LOL
