Hi there. I entered via k1 and now married to a us citizen. I got my notice of action for the employment authorization stating ELIGIBILITY CATEGORY: AO7

what does that mean?

Think it's saying how you were eligible for the EAD.

Yes as said it's the eligibility category which you also fill out when you are applying.

Thanks for your quick responses. :D I appreciate it. I called USCIS and spoke to an immigration officer. She said that she will make a service request that there is a typological error and that category should be C9 and not A07. Further, she said that I will be receiving a notice 10-15 business days to get the updated notice of action for Employment Authorization transpiring C9 Category. Lastly, she said not to worry- there will be no delay. 

I pray that there will really be no delay. :D

Update: I got my letter from USCIS today stating that they have rectified the typological error. VERY FAST!

 

jan 30- called got my noa for ead got error

jan 31- uscis rectified the error

feb 4- got letter stating they made the changes :)

 

TIP: call uscis 4pm. 2 mins waiting time only.
