Hi. So I will be flying to the U.S next week. Any pieces of advice you can give me starting from the documents that I need to bring with me and the preparations I need to make. I know that Trump has signed something about banning some immigrants but as far as I know Philippines is not included and I processed my papers legally so I am not worried. I will be fine right? Thanks in advance.

Yes you will be fine, Philippines is not on the list of "countries" .

Like said, have your DO NOT OPEN envelope with you in your carry on.  When you get to POE ask the agent as you walk in the room which counter you should use for processing.

Do you have an extra copy or two of your PSA birth certificate?  You will need that in the USA.

Safe Travels!

Visa chase and citizenship.. DONE!

Thank you. What do you mean by extra copy? Extra original copy or extra photocopy? I only have 1 original PSA birth record with me because I submitted the other one to USEM when I had my interview. Shall I get another copy or this will do? ??

I am sorry just being curious about it right now. I'm traveling in 10 days with my sealed closed package. What is this copy of PSA birth certificate you are saying that I should have a copy?

I'm from Brazil.

Its not applicable for Brazil. Just make sure you have your regular birth certificate

Thank you. I am already bringing with me, will bring copies of it also.

You'll be fine as long as you have an original to make copines from. You'll need copies for such things as Social Security,  for Drivers license, and possibly for other things you apply for.

So basically I need to bring my original birth certificate from Brazil (the only one I have). Original and a copy?

Yes. Bring an original and make copies from it either before you leave or once you arrive in the USA.
