I 130 for Syrian

Dear VJ'er, I am from Syria which one of the 7 countries were affected by the President ban. I live in Lebanon on a student visa "am not a refugee". My case is under process in the NVC and I was hoping soon to receive a CC and later an interview. Unfortunately, the ban came and I don't know what it's meant for such cases. 
Is it because I am Syrian the NVC will stop processing my case? Is it gonna continue after the 90days? Is the ban cancel my I130 case?

I'm from yemen i am in the NVC too waiting for a CC i just got off the the phone with the NVC they told me they will still process cases normally unless if they get orders to stop the processing they also told me they received orders to cancel all interviews scheduled for February oil further notice and cases are still to be processed normally unless they receive orders to otherwise. so they might still be working on our cases and if cases are complete they will not schedule for interview ...... its sad and were going to suffer for a little

I would think NVC will keep processing but once you have cc there, you will just be on hold and not called for an interview until the ban is lifted or the policy updates.

Agreed with above. They may finish processing it and it will sit on hold until an update about the ban is made, whether lifted or "reduced". It could also sit on hold at NVC until they receive the notice of change in the ban... It is hard to say how it will all go.

Thanks everyone for sharing your thoughts. Just my wife finished her call with the NVC and they said the same. They will continue processing the case till it comes to the interview, then will be on hold till further orders. May be after 90days they will be allowed to do interviews and issue visas.
