Yes buddy they should take my State of Washington too.

You don't need Amazon, Starbucks, Microsoft, Travelocity, Nintendo, oh and Boeing.

Plus all the shipping ports here on the west coast which you will no longer have access to.

Enjoy taking the train on your next vacation

Amazon rocks. You can have Starbucks

This is added complication to a possible Calexit.  As I said earlier, it would be an interesting case study for a fledgling lawyer, or MBA to try and discern the fallout from an exit of California and quite possibly Washington and/or Oregon.  Would those companies stay in place (isn't Boeing actually headquartered in Chicago)?  Would the new tax structure in this potential new country be entertaining to companies? As to the ports, deals could be struck with Mexico or Canada to cover imports if the new country closed the ports to the remainder of the US.  This just goes on to show how intricate any potential exit would be, and in my opinion it would be much more intense than what is coming in Brexit which itself is and will be very complicated.

Maybe start with Hawaii. Easier case study perhaps.

Their military defense might be an issue though after that whole Pearl Harbor mishap.

Well, Californians, what say you? Should you stay or should you go?

If they do attempt to leave, Trump will invade.  The strategic importance of the West Coast is profound. If Washington and Oregon go with there will be no access to the Pacific

Update: bad news bears, but there's still hope!

https://www.rt.com/usa/385114-calexit-yes-california-ends-petition/

Quote

The leaders of the “Calexit” movement, or Yes California, are going their separate ways. Signature-gathering slowed and donors fled amid negative publicity exploiting one organizer’s ties to Russia. Now Californians will have to wait to take up secession.

Quote

If voters agreed to amend the state’s constitution, removing text deeming the republic “inseparable” from the US and declaring the US Constitution to be the “law of the land,” then a follow-up vote to form their own country would take place in March 2019.

That schedule has now been thrown off at least a year, as the former vice president of Yes California, Marcus Ruiz Evans, told the Bee that a similar group he has since joined, the California Freedom Coalition, plans to file new paperwork for ballot access by May 1.

How bout that Russia conspiracy?

This was known from the start of that campaign if anybody actually bothered to look alittle bit further than face value. The main supporter of CalExit is from California but lives in Moscow now with his gf. So it was kinda funny how people wanted California to exit the USA because of supposed DT Russia ties, all the while the main supporter lives there.

Isn't it hilariously ironic that this is, along with Hillary-Russia uranium deal are the only proven US-Russia ties?

I think the Calexit was all a conservative pipedream because of the block of California Electoral votes.
