Hello to all, I am a US citizen and my wife became a permanent US resident in October 2016. She is from Colombia. I need some info on how to bring my wife's 26 year old son to the US.  The lady who OK'd her green card said that my wife could sponsor him but we dont remember the details. Please help.

Route depends whether he is married or not.

If married, she needs to become citizen first, then file I-130, wait will around 12 years.

If he is not married, she can file I-130 now, about 7 years wait (has to stay unmarried). If she becomes a citizen, she can upgrade the petition but at this moment in time there's very little (relative) difference in priority dates - may be different in 3 years or so.

Generally take a look at Visa Bulletin - right now visas are processed for dates listed there for each category. How those will progress (and how categories will look like down the road with this administration) - nobody really knows.

You wait until the visa number is current, c2025.

Nothing to do now.

My wife has received a Form 797C with a priority date of June 6, 2017. How do I find out or get an update for her son to get an interview? Or what is next?

The next will be the 2nd Notice of Action I-797, where petition will be approved by USCIS and sent to NVC, where a new case number will be assigned. It can take 1-2 years for approval, but you'll have to wait for PD to become current (~7 years) only then interview will be scheduled. Check visa bulletin to track your line.
