i am a newzealand citizen in canada... i have four children 15,12,2&1 years of age... i moved to canada in 2012 on a valid temporary residency and work permit! due to a severly abusive relationship with my partner i separated from him and ended up in a VAW shelter for two years! i did not have the funds to renew my permit or the childrens permits and was arrested by immigration! now two years later canada has decided to enforce a departure and one year exclusion order to be enforced on feb3 of this year... i have a humanitarian and compassionate application in since march of 2016 but they are still enforcing the order! what can i do? please help

Are you trying to come to the USA, or stay in Canada?  If you would like to stay in Canada, you can try to contact your local MP and local charities for assistance. Do you have the funds now to renew all of your permits?  I am guessing the younger ones are Canadian citizens?

im trying to stay in canada with my children! i have been to my mp who has sent a letter and recomendation to the minister of immigration but we have not received a response... my immigration lawyer is attempting for a federal stay  but with five days left i dont know if we have time to do much... i am trying to arrange a peaceful protest but havent been able to get word out and gather people! I have sumbitted a humanitarian and compassionate application fully paid for so they are not discussing renewing documents at this time
