Are you even out of status? I see you arrived on K-1 and called him a bf, which means you are not married right? Why is everyone saying you are out of status?

I am out of status. Nope I'm a K-2 and haven't adjusted status yet and yes he's just a bf haha.

I took the plane thrice while out of status ( a few years overstay) . I did bring my marriage certificate and etc ... in case I was stopped but that was a waste of time. They never cared enough to even check the visa pages on my passport. I just put my ticket next to my bio page on my passport and that was it .

my friend and her bf went last week.. hes from brazil.. they had zero problems and all was well! hes an overstay too! its american soil, no differnet then LAX to NYC.

was in hawaii october 2016 been in hawaii 3 times using my CADL no problem. i am a DACA holder and processing papers. altho i was only in Oahu the whole 3 trips. as long as u have a direct flight to hawaii you should be ok

I'd wait,  who knows what Trump will sign next. He's trying to clean house to flex his.muscles. You don't want to be in mid travel when another executive order is signed. See the chaos it's created.  They do randomly check (profiling) for domestic flights.

Hawaii is a little different than other states.  They can and will do customs checks even though it's just a normal state.

Do what you want to do. Yes,  they can deport you since you are out of status and not in a period of legal stay. It doesn't matter that you arrived legally. Simply filing the AOS and getting the NOA1 would fix that for you.  If you don't want to, that's your choice.  It sounds like you just want people to say it's okay and really, it's not, regardless of the fact it's a state to state flight.

I hope you plan on filing for AOS soon as you have to file it before you turn 21, as a K-2. So perhaps spend the money on AOS filing before splurging on a Hawaii trip?

I'm just scared that they might question me. I'd only have my passport as an identification tool.

If you are out of status, do not go.   You need to file your AOS

Even though its a domestic flight, you will be asked for proper ID and a Visa.

If your out of status, do not jump on a plane, even though it is a domestic flight to Hawaii.   

 

If you did not marry within 90 days of entering on a K1, then your out of status. If CBP stop you, they can make you leave cause you did not marry within the 90 days.

They do not ask for visa, they simply need to make sure the person who bought the ticket is the one boarding the plane.

She arrived on k-2 : )

 

 

Ok.... she is absolutely not going though international zone and us customs and border protection (whatever they called in the airports? i forgot) when flying from Hawaii to LAX and the other way around.... yes there could be random checks but they could be anywhere, even on a bus going from one state to another.

OP, is there a reason for the delay in not filing the AOS? Doing so would resolve any issue of having to worry at all on what may or may not happen at the airport.
