I am so sorry to hear about this and I am ashamed to be an American Citizen right now. This is absolutely appalling and Trump MUST STOP his paranoia. This Ban will be in effect for 4 months at the least. Very Sad. Not my President.

Then if you are ashamed of being a citizen then go to Mexico. This is not appalling and he is living up to his campaign promises. I did vote for him this election and I am glad he is living up to his promises. It is about time that we start actually abiding by the law that has been in the books for many years. I did not agree with 3/4 of the stuff Obama did but he was ALWAYS my president, so do not think that Trump is not your president because he is.

The ONLY thing I think should happen is that those that already have visas from these countries be allowed to travel to the USA during the ban period. If someone has a VALID visa then they should be allowed to travel.

One member mentioned that coming to the US is a privilege, not a right.  I'd like to point out that we are all humans and humans don't have the privilege to choose where they are born.  Some Americans, however, seem to believe that a person should be held accountable for such a meaningless detail as place of birth.  We waited in line, filed our paperwork, paid our fees, attended our interviews, submitted to all of the same background checks as anyone else.  Don't remind us that to enter is a privilege; we see that it is a privilege being denied on an unconstitutional basis.

Sorry but there are borders and it is time that people actually start respecting our borders and our laws. I understand we all need to be compassionate but compassion can only go so far in this life. Then that compassion has to turn to action and adherence to our rule of law. If you think someone's place of birth is meaningless then go to where your fiance is and live. I am proud of my country and thankful that my ancestor came here over 300 years ago as a indentured servant so that I am where I am now.

To the ignorant person who said Philippines is banned and on the list. You have no idea what you're saying sit down and be quiet spreading nosene info.

Anyways I know you feel depressed but the "ban" is only temporary for 3 months only apparently. Don't wory you already have your visa I think they'll let you in sooner or later. Try to contact CAIR organization or an attorney in USA ask for their opinion as well.
