Well, you're already in the US, so I doubt it would. If you didn't come in illegally and was inspected on arrival, you may not have issues. Fingers crossed! It's sad what trump is putting many immigrants through

You should be fine since u are already on US soil. If you were outside the US and applied for an immigrant benefit, then it would be a totally different ball game because you would not be able to get into the country to finish processing it.

Any MENA stuff is taking forever. We filed in March 2016.....still waiting on backgrounds. About to renew the EAD. Apparently even EADs are backing up over 90 days now sometimes. Did you try and expedite at all yet?

This stuff is really testing my mental fortitude lately.

How can I expedite my EAD ? I filed for my GC and EAD in 21 OCT 16. All I have done is my biometric and then had RFE and replied after a week and nothing till this second.

I sent them a request they told me it's in their processing timeline. So I'm still waiting. Then Friday we heard the news about the orders.

Did you get an initial or additional RFE? Initial stops your clock somehow (its so confusing, but threads on here explain it).

Call and get a tier 2 and try hardship expedite. Or, go to your local congressional rep. and have them do it. I recommend the congressional rep. if you can, they almost always have better and faster results.

Yea, the EAD processing time is actually clogged up if you check the official uscis site. It is showing close to 4mo.....puke.

Please do not give false information. Even though the applicant was born in Saudi Arabia, he is not a Saudi citizen. He is a Yemeni citizen and thats what the USCIS cares about. Place of birth is not always the same andas important as the citizenship.

I'm sorry that you are going through this right now. I know how you feel but keep faith in God brother.

I will not sugar coat anything and I won't lie to you about your situation. Nobody can give you a clear answer because this executive order trump made is so unclear. Even some lawyers are puzzled and unclear about it to.

I can't tell you either if this ban is going to affect your AOS but it shouldn't since this order is supposed to be against people who are coming to the US not the ones who are here.

All I can do as I myself unable to give a clear straight forward answer is pray for all of the people from these 7 countries who were banned and will be treated unfairly.

I pray for you and all the people who will be affected by this insane order that God help y'all and ease your pain.

Do you have a lawyer? I didn't recall seeing that in any of your other post. If you dont, know is a good time to invest in one. The question is, do you still hold Yemeni nationality or did you somehow give it up with having lived in Saudi for so long?

Also I see your RFE was for tax forms. I think that is initial, and it would slow down your EAD. But someone who knows more can correct me if I'm wrong.

The ACLU is working on this. They won a temporary stay on the ban. I hate telling anyone stay calm, but follow the ACLU facebook page and try to use the worried energy for getting up with your congressional rep. and getting your EAD moving.
