So, I basically want to know if there is somebody here might know if the US consular officer ever verified a Birth certificate and if so, How did they do it?

So, I had requested an Entry change on my Name(first letter) on my NSO and it is not completed yet till now. We are scheduled for interview next week, I have a NSO copy but the outdated one.

Anyways, I requested for a Change because, the way its printed on the secured paper was messed. But the records from my original birth cert and Baptismal was all Correct. I just wanted to make sure that they would read it clear. So I requested for a Change.

Now my main concern is, Would the pending change request will cause any trouble? Are they verifying it directly through PSA?

I am assuming not, As They are issuing the visa the same day ill submit the BC document. So no need to do extra process on the same day. But I don't know. Im worried now.

If the BC is hard to read they may very well request a new one from PSA.  For sure bring your change request info with you to the interview and a copy of  your local BC.
