Ok, I have a bit of a dillema. I'm hoping to leave for the beach (free lodging!) at 9am Monday (so 3pm London time) but I HAVE to speak with James to see how his interview went. Where is there an available place close to the Embassy for him to call? Did anyone use or notice a payphone nearby? Also, would there possibly be anywhere for him to get a calling card to call me cheaper than collect on a payphone to the US? Thanks guy! I'm getting nervous about this interview!!

Tell James that most paper shops do phone cards these days .....

I used a banana card they are 5 pounds and are really easy to use, cant say I saw a pay phone nearby but then I wasnt looking lol. There must be though. Hope for all the best.

When you come out of the embassy there are phoneboxes opposite the park near the station.

I called the USA to speak to my mother in law from it and it canes your money so tell him to get a phonecard

I have been using Nomi Call phone cards (£5.00) all this time to talk to my honey, they give FREE calls to USA and Canada after 8pm British time and is very cheap even during day time! There are phone boxes at Bond St underground which is hardly 10 min walk from the embassy.

If James has cell phone, he can always use that + a calling card to call u...thats what i did. Just make sure he comes out of the embassy before he uses his cell phone, people who used cell phones inside the embassy were given trouble because of that.
