Hi everyone,

I have my I-751 biometrics scheduled for next week, I received the notice a day ago. In the I-751 application, I provided my relative's address (in a different state) as the mailing address and my physical address for where my wife and I currently reside. USCIS assigned me an ASC for biometrics in my relative's state as opposed to the state in which I reside. I called USCIS customer service and they told me I can go to the local ASC on my appointment date and they will accommodate me if they can and if not, they'll let me know a later date to come back on. My concern is if the local ASC doesn't accommodate me, then the ASC I am assigned to might flag me as a no-show.

Anyone been in the same situation before and suggestions on the best way to proceed?

Thanks!

You may try early walk-in at the local ASC to test the water.

I did a walk-in for mine. They assigned me to one that's 3 hrs away from my address when I had one in Chicago south side. Went to Chicago one- never had a problem. They agreed that their system isn't thinking right on certain occasions.

Do a walk-in.
