July 2016 Application, no updates.

Hello Everyone,

 

I applied in July 2016 in Atlanta and gave in my bio-metrics in Aug. I am traveling in May to Sweden and will require a visa if I'm not a USC.  Since then I have not got a single update online, not even my bio-metric update. I made an appointment with the local office to see if they could update me with any new information, nothing.

I have been through these forums and found that contacting the local representative and Senator may nudge things forward.

 

My question is what is the process of contacting the local Rep. and senate? How detailed should my letters be?

Most offices are behind in processing right now. I myself applied at Dallas in July, had biometrics in August and am still waiting for an interview date. Current tracking of other people on this forum should give you an indication of how long a wait you will have.

 

I just looked at the official USCIS reported processing dates and they state as below. So you will probably hear something in the next couple of months.
