Our Adjustment of Status package was delivered in Chicago two weeks ago on Wednesday, January 11.  In this was also my wife's application for a work visa and travel.  The check still has not been cashed, no email notification, and nothing in the mail.  When we sent in the package for the the K-1 visa to Dallas, the check was cashed in a few days after they received everything.  I know this takes time and I need to be patient but I really thought the check would have been cashed by now.  Should I be worried?  Does Chicago take longer than Dallas?  Everything I sent was perfect and super organized just like our original K-1 application which went perfectly.  Getting nervous.  Should I be?

My experience was opposite.. our i-129f NOA1 took about a month.... the AOS one took a few days... it'll  vary depending on when it's picked up and when that batch of files is processed... don't worry.. you're still within a very normal timeframe.
