Nebraska service center is extremely slow. It usually takes them 6-7 months to approve a petition. Have you contacted NSC and spoken to Tier 2 on the status of your case?

No idea what Tier 2 is honestly. I talked however to a customer service representative and she said since the dates on the chart are not beyond the filing date there's nothing we can do.

You most likely spoke to the first level of customer service who can not give you specifics on your case except the standard information.

Tier 2 is the 2nd level of customer service and can give you a bit more information on your case. You have to request to speak to Tier 2 once you've reached the first level of customer service. The wait time to speak to Tier 2 is usually long, so I would begin calling them as soon as they open.

Call about 8:05am CST (4:05pm Egypt time).

Good luck, hopefully soon your petition will be approved. :)

To be honest we are getting kinda worried

I understand. Give them a call and speak with Tier 2 and see what is the status of your case and then go on from there. Hopefully nothing is wrong and it's about to be approved. Do you check your status on the app tracker?

I'm also from Egypt. My case was first in Nebraska and then transferred to Potomac service center in November 4th. I just got the approval in January 25th. My NOA 1 is July 17th.

I didn't make a contact with the customer service. I was also worry like you.

I hope you will get the approval soon.

I've been checking the status of the case very frequently. According to the chart, they are still processing cases submitted on July 2nd and our NOA1 is July 14th.
