Well, our legislative branch wasn't in support of it, but the most they could do was de-fund it.  So bull on checks and balances.

I suppose if that's "all they could do" it was deemed legal, which means the total opposite of checks and balances not working. The simple fact of personal disagreement with a legal decision doesn't mean it's not legal.

This is not a mistake or poorly written legislation its an "agenda" of white supremacy, together with the Private Prison Corporation

lobbyist agenda.. (get as many detention beds filled as possible).. this is going to get much worse the further into Trumps term it

Most Immigration Attorneys are currently advising anyone from the "list of 7" countries.. not to travel outside the US and if already outside LPR, or other VISA get back

here while the injunction is in place before Appeals to the injunction start being decided. 

* i would advise ANYONE eligible for applying for citizenship get it done as soon as possible the list of immigration offenses is growing and the number of deportable 

immigrants is dwindling expect to see whole new categories of "immigration related crimes" being enforced during the trump administration.  Betting none

will involve locking up white middle aged business owners who recruit and hire illegal alien work forces..

Nothing new about people being held up for hours at any immigration POE.

 

Neighbors of mine have son-in-law from a South American country.

Neighbors, their daughter, the son-in-law and 2 children went for day visit to Canada.

Upon re-entry to USA, they were all detained for close to 6 hours.

The son-in-law had name identical to another on the no-fly list.

After each hour or so, neighbor went to window to ask what was happening.

He was told to shut up and go sit back down.

Unfortunate that  these categories have an 'F' designation existing at the same time as there are F-1 Student Visas, etc.  How on earth did this F duplication come to be ?
