Exactly!  What is this definition of "hysteria"?  I had no idea conversation, debate, questions, ideas and sharing information were hysteria.   My husband and I are flying down south soon.  We have discussed taking immigration documentation to be safe, prepared, just in case.  We have discussed the domestic flight.  Had no idea we are being hysterical.

It's funny, in all other parts of this forum we give each other information on experiences of others flying in. There are reviews on interviews and on POE and even a rating on the harassment level so that ppl can be well prepared and know what to expect. I'm sure most all of you that are saying it's not a big deal have read such reviews to be informed. Yet now, when people are reporting experiences and information on what to expect it is fear mongering and hysteria... smh

To be honest I gotta stop lingering here until my wife goes through POE.

 

Shes stressed about it no matter how many times I tell her she's not in an affected country nor in a country that has any real worries at all. She still is so scared.

 

She stresses me out with her stress. Dutch women wear there hearts on there sleeve man.

My advice is if you plan on visiting a Middle East country don't do it for awhile don't take a risk even if your not on the list.

I'm the same, not from one of the 7 countries but still scared. They can always add more, apparently, with no notice and no regard for GC holders. And that's not hysteria.

Well GC holders will be let in after additional screening (waiver processing). They also added that dual citizens will be let in based on the passport they present. (according to press briefing). That's where we are atm.

One question - I live in area with big immigrant communities and I have heard through the grapevine of dual citizens, LPRs, and visa holders being asked by CBP about whether they like/support Donald Trump (I apologize that I don't have a news article to link to on this - I do trust the sources I heard this from). As a dual citizen (France) born in the US, I would have no problem telling them exactly what *I* think - but for LPRs and visa holders, particularly those from muslim majority countries - should they say that they like the president (even if that is not the case)? Can you be denied entry for mainstream political views?

I thought about it too, and I'm a person who overstayed and currently trying to adjust my status and I'm expressing my views pretty clearly. I would love to see them telling me that i have no freedom of speech in USA.

Not opinion, a fact of law. As for Green card holders and others with valid visas issued before the EO was signed that is another matter and has been clarified that the EO does not apply to people in those situations. Of course someone can challenge the law and have it review/ruled upon by the Supreme Court.

You should be the one defending this in court then, since it's a fact! Let's just ignore the 41 current lawsuits providing legal arguments stating otherwise (along with more that are likely to come).
