Hello everyone,

Let me tell you about my story because we need your help. I came to the U.S in 2015 to work on a summer camp with a J1 visa, it was about 2 months and a half. I worked, visited and went back to my country. In 2016 camp staff invited me back so I decided to go with a J1 visa again. So I was back in the states, working for summer camp again, and after that I would go to my dream trip in Europe.

So in 2016, in that summer camp I met a girl, a coworker, who stole my heart, it was instant crush for each other. We met in June, and after a month of getting to know each other we started dating, that was in July. We got along pretty well, I met her family, we went on road trips, we hung out a lot, we loved each other and we didn't want to separate. So I decided to invite her to Europe and afterwards we will go together my Colombia to meet my family. As soon as camp was done (first week of September, 2016) we flew to Europe, we went to France and Italy, it was a good time (we have lots of pics). It was about a month there.

Then we headed to Colombia. There she met my family, we visited places, and had a good time (lots of pics as well). After a month it was time for her to go back to the states, but we wanted to be together, so she invited me to spend thanksgiving and Christmas with her and her family, and also go and have fun at winter camp (that was not a job, it was just to hang out). She flew back home by herself, but I promised her to go and visit.

I got a B2 visa pretty easy and flew back to the states (mid november). Since then we have been spending almost 3 awesome months together, I am getting closer to her family, we go out together, we go to gym together, we go to church together, we spend time together. But more important we love more each other, we have dreams and goals, we are both professionals with high expectations in our lives.

It's almost time for me to go back home, we don't wanna separate and we don't know what to do. We don't wanna keep going back and forth between countries, we wanna settle down and start a life together. So we decided that getting married is the way to go. I've heard getting married on a B2 visa and then AOS is risky, but plenty of people have done that if you prove that when you entered the U.S getting married was not your intention, which is my case. With the K1 we'll be separated, for who knows how many months, and again the game going back and forth.

So now, our big question is: Should I go back to Colombia and apply for a K1 visa or should we get married here and apply for AOS?

PD: We have plenty of pictures, gym membership, chats, letters from local church addressed with both names, letters that we worked at the same camp, etc.

Please guys help us, we are freaking out, and we do not know what to do.

Thanks in advance for your time!
