I emailed the embassy to ensure they were aware of our waiver approval and asked when an interview would be scheduled. Second interview was simple much like a formality. He wasn't there long. Visa was issued one week later.  We filed a I-601 waiver.

Thank your for sharing . Congrats on your success , I am curious you said second interview does it mean he went to the embassy twice ? 

Also my waiver was  a "i601a" (unlawful present ) 

I am presently in the US so will have to travel to jamaica for my interview, I have no criminal issues in Jamaica to worry about , nevertheless still can't share the fear of something going wrong with my interview for some reason , it's been a long 17 years with my journey to get to this point it seems a bit unreal ,

OP I think things will be going smoothly , are you using an atty? it 

may not apply to your case , but to ppl who applied for waiver be

very sure the waivers covers every & all things that needed to be

waived all at once. some ppl are finding this out too late...best wishes once
