Woke up had a good sleep then coffee with the dH before he took off. 8:48 I am still online reading throu Vj. I should have left to go shopping already. All the bread and milk will be gone I am sure.

Happy Wednesday everyone! The weather has been so awesome here the past week or so, but today......BRRRRRR......winter is back. I want spring weather!!! Hope everyone has a great day!

OK it's sooo cold here today and I have to go to my uncle's funeral and the only really warm coat I have is bright fuscia pink.

I'm gonna have to wear my black North Face and freeze since I don't think bright fuscia is appropriate. UGH.

Bad storms last night with some quarter sized hail in parts of the area . . . LOL, the loud thunder scared the cats! They have short memories as last week we got booming thunder along with lots of lightening. Woke to cooler temps, but it is supposed to get warmer later. I don't see much sun though!

I didn't sleep well anyway . . . so coffee is a must! TG, it is a short week but I am such a funk (LOL) that I wish I didn't have to work . . . I need another vacation already!!! Well, hopefully, this weekend will brighten up a bit since I have plans to browse around at the garden center and pick out some more plants!!! But the day lily sale won't take place for 2 more weeks, so I guess I'll have to wait on those.

It's looking like a really pretty spring in the garden this year with all the rain we've had.

we are soooooo dry and there are fires popping up in several places. it is very nice though, low 80's and no humidity. I am sooooo not looking forward to the humidity - or the hurricanes for that matter.

i kinda like the no rain thing a bit though - it means the jungle that is my yard has grown twice as slow.

Lovely iris!!! I don't have any of those but I am thinking I should add some.

If you want to drive to Dallas for a sale, here's a link, LOL. It is put on by the Day Lily association of Dallas at a local nursery. . . and they sell special cultivars (?) from their own gardens! "Sale" is a relative term since some of these are not always sold commercially locally.

North Haven Day Lily Sale

This is one of my favorite nurseries and it isn't far from my house. They have very knowledgeable ppl that work there and I found out one of my friends is now working there full time!! He helped me a bit with my little yard a couple of years ago when he was having some job problems and now has landed a "dream" job for him . . . The house that he and his wife own has lots of yard and they are filling it with blooming plants, LOL!!!

Morning all. We too had some beautiful spring days minus the warm weather (it was too cold to do anything outside for long). Now back to the rain. I made potato salad for dinner last night, along with some grilled chicken. I wasn't sure if Omar would like it or not but he loved it. So, one more item approved for the menu. Working a full day today then off to look at a car for Omar.

happy wednesday...........one more week and a few hrs lol ill be off to ny..............yes another seperation but inshallah i will be in Saudi with geo before our wedding anni june 11.......i am hoping....but we will see......

today we got a suprise, geo's oldest neice that has been in kuwait workin since last july came home for easter and will be here til the day after i leave......it is very nice to see her............also we have a sneaking feeling that geo's brother in law will come from saudi for easter we think he may be here tomorrow and will stay til geo leave on the 15th..........we shall see!

tomorrow we go pick up the tickets and then we are goin to the mall for lunch and to watch Mr beans holiday lol..........

I only managed to sleep a few hours, and I'm trying to decide if I should give it up and have some coffee or try to go back to sleep. Decisions, decisions. But whichever way, it's awesome not to be at work!
