I'm stuck on question #38.  Should I check intend or do not intend?  The question is very confusing to me.  Thanks my interview is tomorrow.

We did not check either. We put below on available lines "N/A" (K1 visa process for permanent residence)"

I believe a lot will say put "Intend" but then it asks for specifics about the nature and duration of the "contributions".

Make sure you have the updated I-134, I had ones done already but after checking the USCIS website I saw they updated it so it has a ton more pages. If that's the version you are using, I checked Intend, and on page 8 of 8, where it says 3.a. I put "N/A (K-1 VISA PROCESS FOR PERMANENT RESIDENCE). FIANCEE WILL BE LIVING AT PETITIONER'S ADDRESS AND WILL BE SUPPORTED FINANCIALLY FOR LIFE IN THE UNITED STATES AFTER P.O.E. UPON K-1 VISA APPROVAL.

I figured that sounded alright, and that it's clear whoever you are petitioning will have a place to stay and income to live by for their stay in the U.S., along with clarifying what visa process we are doing. I just said 'for life', because saying 'duration in the United States' sounded weird to me, almost as if it were a temporary visa. Not saying that what I wrote is what is correct, but with all the lines for an explanation, I figured I would try and be as clear as possible. Maybe it'll help a bit!

It's no problem, glad that it could help! I actually ended up shortening it to just:  "N/A (K-1 VISA PROCESS FOR PERMANENT RESIDENCE)" because I wasn't sure if they'd like the extra explanation or find my wording strange  Now I'm thinking either way would be fine, I can let you know (if you'd like) how the answer goes when she goes to her interview in a few weeks :)

Hey, hope you've been doing well! As an update- everything went completely fine for her at the interview and she got her visa! :D So I think you'd be fine listing whatever variation/explanation you would like- but they were happy with the plain and simple *N/A- K-1 Process.. etc. Best of luck on your process :)

That's great news. Congratulations. I'm still waiting on The NOA2. I've got a few more months to go.

Congrats!

And just intruding with a silly question. How did you fill in the income, assets, live insurance... part when you don't have those? Blank, N/A or 0.00?

Amazing how this process makes you question and doubt even the smallest thing and kind of freak out about it :P
