Interview date was Jan 2, 2017 case show AP until now , 5 updates Jan 3,4 ,8,9 and last update was Jan 16 with no single ready it's all AP .  Counslor officer required joint sponsor to mail through aramex after the interview .note *( my lawyer sent joint sponsor to the NVC and she makes above the poverty line but what happened in the interview the lady handed all papers My lawyer sent to NVC back to me because I hadn't the AOS papers complete I just had page number 9 which show the inc sign of the sponsor so she kept the one page with tax income and asked me to bring the rest of the form which the NVC already sent them !!and my passport in the same package . I sent all the papers they required which it was exactly the same as the NVC sent them !!! plus my passport with my A2 visa in the mail but it didn't show ready it's still on AP . Any help on what to do and how to email the embassy inquiring if they agree on the AOS I sent or not would be appreciated . I'm a former Egyptian army captain so the councilor asked one question about how I meet my wife and the rest of the questions was about my army service. Note* ( I been in the states for SF course on A2 visa in 2013/2014 that's how I meet my wife .

If you sent all the documents they requested after your interview and it's still saying AP, then this is normal. Many Egyptians especially Egyptian men get placed on AP after their interview. This AP can take days, weeks, and even months. There is no real way of knowing how long it will take for them to complete your AP. You can always email the embassy and inquire about it, but at this moment all you can do is really wait.

Please follow this thread below, as it may be helpful to you. Good luck and hopefully soon you will pass AP and receive your visa.
