Hey guys, My mom has a 10 years multiple entry visa to the US and she got it last Nov. I would like to know how long is she allowed to stay in the US? Can I book her for a 3 month stay? Or should I book her a month stay first and just change the return flight when she gets her passport stamped from the immigration office at the US Airport? Need your thoughts on this please help.

she can book for 6 mos and then request for 6 mo. extension, as had been my experience. at least am talking about the maximum. she can always go back home before end of her requested stay.

by the way SImone, her stay is dependent on the no. of mos the entry/immigration officer allows her. just let her explain her intentions, what she will do, viz: to see the US and experience winter and spring that'll explain the length of time she wants to be here, or perhaps, the birth of her grandchild, etc

What did she say her intended length of stay would be at the November interview?
