Filipino just shows their passport.  USC enters immigration and your given a visa for a stay of 30 days on the visa waiver, after that you can extend for 29 days, to bring your total up to 59 days.  You can extend beyond if needed. Nothing has to be done ahead of time as this visa is given upon entry into the Philippines.

So "WE" are going to the Philippines.. again??   Are you done with the U.S. visa process, married and your wife has her GC?  Just asking as the answer would be different then.

As for the 30 tourist visa.. it is automatic upon arrive.  Then if you stay longer you can go to BI and get a 59 day visa giving you two more months roughly.

Visa chase and citizenship.. DONE!

More data... DIFFERENT answer.

YOU get the BB stamp in your passport, which is good for ONE YEAR.  All you need to do is clear immigration in the same line with your asawa, then ask the agent for the BB stamp.

Visa chase and citizenship.. DONE!

If you go the BB route don't forget to show the marriage certificate.

With BB, it's free of any fees or headaches for one year!

Really?   Weird.

We have never been asked.

Is the last name in both passports the same (married name)?

What would you do if the immigration officer objects?

Are you going to say, but our last names are the same in the passport? Or are you going to show the MC?

Here is another similar one ...

Will you need a throw-away ticket to board your plane before going on a BB to the Philippines with your Filipina wife?

The BB says you don't but the airline agent might stop you from boarding?

It's better to be fully prepared coz you will never know what kind of an ignorant in authority you might face!
