My wife was issued a CR-1 Visa. She crossed the border in October but we had not paid the immigrant fee. On October 30th we paid the fee, but it did not get applied to her account.

We received notices of failure to pay fee, based on this we sent a scan of the payment to the address listed on the letter but have not heard anything back. We are also willing to just pay the fee again, but cannot even get to the payment information section. We are able to input her A Number and Case ID, but when we click on "Proceed to Payment" we get an error "ERROR: The Pay.gov website is currently unavailable. Please try again later.". This same error has been happening for the past 2 months.

Has anyone else had a similar problem?

Carolyn,

We have spoken to USCIS on the phone twice. The first time they instructed us to send our documentation to the service center that sent us the notice of payment (Texas). That was in early December, but we have not heard back. The second time they told us to call an office that dealt with payment (I forget the exact name), but they said they only deal with a specific aspects of the immigration process, and the immigrant fee was not one of them. Do you have more information on getting a service request?
