AOS Status

Our AOS, AP, and EAD applications were received by Chicago on 12/30; the check was cashed on 1/19. To date, we haven't received a NOA. I wonder, what's the delay?  VJ timelines show NOA typically received within about 8 days. Thanks for any insight.

Your check was cashed four business days ago, that is no way a delay.  Be patience.

I'm a very patient person. But when the averages say 8-9 days and we're at 27 days, that seems worth asking about.

Remember that after your packet was received, there was New Years and also mlk day. It's a good sign your check was cashed and you should wait at least a week after check cashed for receiving the noa1.

How many of those days were holidays and weekends?  How many business days were there?  Don't you think that the holidays created a slight backlog?

People are so impatient , read other people timeline a lot of people are waiting way ahead of u and they being humble

Your timeline in your signature says you received NOA1, was that text/email? It can take 2 weeks to get the hardcopy after that.
