Hi VJ,

Just want you guys to know that on yesterday, I received an email notice of NOIR from USCIS after writing a letter to President Obama in December before he left office.  I was impressed with his office, they responded to my letter immediately and apologized for the delay.  The Immigration Assistant Unit of the President contacted USCIS in reference to our case...I got the NOIR in a week after being at USCIS since 6/2016.

Now I am waiting to get the NOIR in the mail so I can do the rebuttal or hire an attorney to do it.  Any suggestions on a good attorney that specializes in handling 221(g) denial?

Just an FYI for the newbies- my husband had his interview at the Ghana Embassy on 4/13/2016 and was denied 221(g)- USCIS received our case back on 6/19/2016-total timeframe was about 7 1/2 months.

Praying that my husband be with me here in USA before Christmas.

Will keep you guys posted

Actually my dad had asked me to reach out to Pres. Obama before he left office and I didn't :(

But im happy you did and it is working out for you.

I don't know of any but I hope you get recommendations from here.

My husband was denied on Nov 15,2016 and i recently got a diplomatic pouch tracking that our case is been sent back. Still waiting for its arrival.

Glad to hear you are still hanging in there. Didn't hear from you after the interview. Ours was placed in AP soon after yours and we are still waiting to hear from them.

All the best with the rebuttal.
