Since Trump is gonna sign an executive order to ban Muslim/Arab countries from entering the US, what happens to petitioners who applied or is applying for their spouse, children, or relatives from the 6 countries he listed. I petitioned l-130 for my husband in October and he is from Yemen. Now what??

If he does not have the visa before the new orders take affect... I would assume he would experience a long delay before receiving the visa.

 

It is hard to say exactly how this will affect current petitions though. You may just have to wait and see honestly.

08/15/2014 : Met Online

06/30/2016 : I-129F Packet Sent

11/08/2016 : Interview - APPROVED!

11/23/2016 : POE - Dallas, Texas

From sending of I-129F petiton to POE - 146 days.

 

02/03/2017 - Married 

02/24/2017 - AOS packet sent

06/01/2017 - EAD/AP Combo Card Received in mail

12/06/2017 - I-485 Approved

12/14/2017 - Green Card Received in mail - No Interview

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
