I just got a call from my fiance that the visa is ready.,but the staus has not changed on the ceac.  Is this possible?  No email either he just called and gave his passport number and name and they told him it just came in.  So should he wait for email or travel to Lagos hoping that it's true?

Check his passport number here, they usually faster than ceac

Thanks Tasha I just checked there and there is no status update. Do you think it's a denial? Cos he got a call and not an actual email.

Call is weird, it could be a scam, I wouldn't give any information on the phone if somebody calls saying it's the embassy, usually it's ceac and the passport tracking, if his passport is ready, passport tracking should show it ready to pick up. Don't worry about the denial, probably it's in process, wait a couple of days. My fiance also had some phone call saying from the embassy and it wasn't anything real. In our case passport tracking showed it faster than ceac.

Have faith, it's an approval
